A student from the Cairns High musical excellence program Mike Rivett headed off

to study in Sydney.  A New York intensive with some of the greats of American Jazz, like Dave Liebman, George Garzone .  Back home to make the New School Collective CD which was performed live at Jute Theatre.  A couple of years ago Mike took off once again this time Tokyo.
