Gore Verbinski

In 2006 Wynton Marsalis questioned the contribution of the 1960's generation  It took time to find some... Gore Verbinski works how hard?  Lordy!

Director of Pirates of the Carribean, Gore Verbinski has spent 7or 8 years flat-out makin' movies.  He started out on the guitar in the heady days of punk, going into creating music video and ads.  As ya do, lol.

Of course no man walks alone- taking 100 million bux in two days takes teamwork...  'Well, you try to keep the complexity of some shots away from the actor and focus on the story you’re telling. Even so, you sometimes have 600 people on the set and you make the actors feel like it’s a crew of 30 people. You try to delegate also as much as you can. You surround yourself with the right people and your role as a director is to keep everything together, to keep track of the big picture but still making sure the "little details" are not forgotten and put aside.'  - iF Magazine
