Ric' offered sponsorship in THE 2008 BEST of the BEST - Pizza Challenge.
MAIIA: Ive washed enough dishes over the years to know chefs -an Ric can cook, it's no surprise to locals - Little Ricardo's Pizzeria and Trattoria in Sheridan St is voted Cairn's best pizza. Same as Beethovens- best sandwhich. The city is behind local business, it's great too for visitors to be told what's happening, steada being shunted round like mugs. We need em to have a fabulous time! We all like genuine friendly service, and quality.
2007 - PIZZA CHALLENGE - Queensland Hospitality Industry Conference and Expo.
Everyone's right behind Ric' -it's amazing, even the mainstream media. It's well deserved recognition- you'd be surprised just what subtle artistry goes into the humble pizza. Seen Ric there personally seeing to the correct storage of the basil. LOL- they all say only the finest ingredients, but this region has wonderful markets. I can't recommend highly enough the difference fresh herbs make.
Little Ricardo's in one of it's incarnations was right next-door to the world-famous Johno's Blues Bar.

Ric's also supports local artists... Rom Stover has a Ned Kelly in there. It's great- looks like it would have been fun to create, and more in his rock 'n' roll persona than the fine-art studies I'm familiar with.
Maiia "Ric' asked me if I wanted to do one, but -no rainforest, nothing in particular, something abstract. A picture of nothing, which with my philosophical approach - poses too many questions. Exactly which nothing is the something I wanna explore?" Bill has offered to do a Jackson Bollock. (Watched DVD - "Who the *&%# Is Jackson Pollock" last night.)
