A good critical thinker will be able to assess or evaluate the strength and credibility of a statement. Gathering interpreting and comparing different sources of information. Thereby coming up with accurate conclusions and consequences.
Improvisation can lead to innovation. Impulsiveness and trial and error can lead to genius and brilliance. These are premium gifts in creativity - but not in business. Which is why having business people running arts and culture leads to conservatism and mediocrity.
Critical thinking skill is invaluable to weighing up risk. For example in acknowledging our biases, so as to draw accurate conclusions not emotional ones. Remembering how unfortunately most small businesses tend to close within in the first year. That is a lot of smashed dreams, our decisions must be well-founded.
