It's nice that message got to the emperor re False Cape - but community heritage is just as valauble to routinely pillaged citizens of Cairns who signed a petition of over 5000 to get a heritage listing on the Cairns Aquatic Club. Lol- and some dodgey paperwork there too. Legend has it -if walls had ears the Yacht Club is privy to all the old brown-paper bag tales of early Cairns. As fascinating as the war-era stories and the pioneers. Ah the good old days!
