Maiia;  I stumbled across Cafe Melt on my lunch break... (link unrepresentative)

 Cairns is not so touristy there's nowhere left to go...  behind the railway Station there in (189) Bunda St, is a smart cafe / eatery - Cafe Melt. 

Maiia: First saw this restaurant open I thought they're barking up a steep hill trying to run a business here -away from the madding crowd.  But it backs up what I've found over 20 years of hospitality- it really is- how you run your business that makes success.

So yes all recommendation to this lot!!!
