Little Olivia Newton John, Patti Newton and the Lee Moy Sisters  donned their dancing shoes at May Downs Dance Academy in Victoria.   Denise Drysdale: "May Downs was an amazing woman. She taught us 150% is what you gave in any performance, or don't bother."

Elaina dy Electrah-" May Downs was an amazing woman alright.  Strict training though.   Dance today is no longer just for professionals.  As we've become more affluent and more travelled, we're embracing all the cultures and nationalities and realising the charm of dance. 

It's also a great way to be athletic, and it's connecting but not crossing boundaries.  Like my Argentine Tango, no matter how close you get it's not sexual.
