Create A Checklist in order to Focus


Thinking things through in preparation especially while learning new skills can be very helpful.
A checklist is a plan that you prepare before you begin an activity or task so that things go smoothly. Do a good job, save money and time. 

An example might be making a checklist for a camping trip. You think through and write down all of the things that you will need to do and to get - before you go.  You can then read and tick off the items on the list when you are packing and be sure that nothing has been overlooked. When you arrive at the destination you will know you have baked beans AND the can opener.
 
ARRANGE THE INFOS UNDER HEADINGS for example:

COOKING:
Food, salt and pepper, knives and forks, can opener etc
 
CAMPING GEAR: 
Tent, sleeping bag, backpack 
 
ENTERTAINMENT: 
Guitar, phone charger, books, games, the footie etc 
 
SAFETY: 
First Aid Kit, medicines, phone numbers, cigarette lighter, torch

GATHERING INFORMATION - is similar to gathering real items for camping.  You still put the information under headings...
