This style of work comes from a parrallel reality, rural Aotearoa New Zealand.  Where there were two extra weeks each month. You wanted a book, you would wait two weeks for the librarian to send one from the city.

If you wanted the news from England as Sth Seas pommies do - it was two weeks to get a letter or a newspaper there... and two weeks to get one back. But people actually did...

                                                                                       

Maiia: So as an art student I was there learning skills that were obsolete.  However on the flip side -  it's - so close to the Archaic Revival it's crazy.  Making the leap of technological faith into the 21st Century is fascinating.
