Working with respect for the traditions of my white ancestors brings an almost anthropological view of the development of colonial societies over the past hundred years.

If Witi ihimaera  Skippy, Aboriginal dance, and the Lone Ranger influenced me, I can see how Flipper influenced the whole "dolphin' thing.  (1964)  Or The Man from Atlantis, (1977) introduced new subjects through massmarketting of culture through Television.                                     

 Charlie Chaplin  the great humanist, is an even earlier example.  One that made the establishment, the staus quo, sit up and take notice.  Spawing shows where the sherriff and the cops were the heroes instead of you and I.  The very powerful Underdog story, or archetype.                               The Warrior
