Audience Education

I agree the only problem is that people dont listen anymore - technology has taken over - we are the only(AGE) of people left that remember what it was like to do our homework with our parent s on our back - now days parents leave them alone and say is your homework done.. so when they grow up they go to pubs and dont wannna listen.. they wanna ... See moreinteract and do the techno thingy. also you cant blame them much ( hardly anyone) does the real thing anymore, they mostly play covers (NOT MY MATES ) but there is nothing more boring than going out and knowing that the next song that is going to be played is in the same order as the last 6 weeks.REALLY muscios need to take charge also..But all in all I would love to see live music back in pubs I might go out again.- Kathleen White

Unfortunatly An Audience Can Only Applaud Its Own Ability To Reconise. Over 50 odd years of playing I manage to indisperce originals with covers and therefore stay working.
There is a great line from a Tom Rush Song of the early 70`s. " Kids today dont value a Dollar. They all wants ta Chew but dont wants ta swalla " Not much has changed - Jim Cooper
