Cairns people will know these good old faces from live performances over many years and many music venues all over Cairns and out in the regional areas. The Canetoads perform from The Tigers Den near Cooktown, to Julatten, Garradunga and a whole lot more - including 2009 Cairns Blues Festival where they totally claimed the big stage as easily as our local Community Halls. To my mind one of the Best Bands of the day, which is quite a compliment, in some ways. But perhaps no surprise to us locals who realise just how much history and musical talent lives in tropical Australia. - Maiia. Dallas Frasca was a great too.
