One problem with media playing the lowest common denominator is - they're only guessing.
Time and time again - from going, from actually speaking with community - I see and hear loads of really intelligent people, in the lower classes - even among the undereducated. Poor reading and writing ability does not impair thinking, listening and speaking skill and these are the primaries. TOASTMASTERS
March 2009: Maiia: I was horrified and insulted, when I first arrived in Cairns (1991) shocked! Not to mentioned dismayed that local people were living in some bizarre media time-warp.
