Heeding to it's own arbitrary dictates, Brindle Style likes etymology but the project holds no allegiance to being "correct."  Nor does it care for the ways of popular or dominant culture.

  PREMODERNISM here, refers to ideas of the precolonial, it refers to the influences on mainstream culture of the native, and the historic.  Fundamental human needs for sense of place, and belonging the European diaspora hungers for.

 

It manifest in the back to the land movements of the 1960s and 70s as much as our reflections on two decades living and working on the TROPICS of CAPRICORN
